Privacy Policy
Summary
Creelcurve does not require an account and does not include advertising, third-party analytics, tracking, or a developer-operated network service. The app is designed to work offline.
Data stored on your device
Survey titles, waterbody names, protocol and observer text, dates, fish measurements, station and effort records, population inputs, notes, and handoff text are stored locally in the app’s private container. This information is used only to provide the app’s survey, calculation, persistence, and export features.
Photos, location, microphone, and contacts
Creelcurve does not request access to Photos, precise location, the camera, microphone, contacts, or Bluetooth.
Exports
When you choose Export, Creelcurve creates PDF and CSV files and presents the standard iOS share sheet. The app does not transmit those files on its own. Any destination you choose, such as Files, Mail, or another app, handles the exported information under that destination’s privacy practices.
Data collection
The developer does not receive, collect, sell, or use survey data from the app. Apple may process App Store purchase, crash, and diagnostic information under Apple’s own policies and your device settings.
Deleting data
Delete individual survey records from the Survey Library, reset the worked sample from the app menu, or delete Creelcurve from the device to remove its local app container. Files you previously exported must be removed from their saved destinations separately.
Children
Creelcurve is a technical field tool and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes
If the app’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before the changed behavior is released.
